  • Read With Me in November

All the Colors of the Dark by Chris Whitaker This was one of the most emotionally devastating books I’ve read in a long time but I still loved every minute of it. Chris Whitaker doesn’t just write characters, he builds lives. The mystery kept me turning pages, but it was the heart of this book that left me breathless. As Noted By Me I cried. Like, real tears. It’s a book about trauma, survival, and the hard beauty of connection. I highly recommend reading this one with a cup of tea and a quiet afternoon. Coming next month: Let’s time-travel to 1914 Paris, where love and war unfold in letters.

  • Read With Me in October

The Wedding People by Alison Espach This book surprised me in the best way. What I expected was a quirky wedding weekend—what I got was a layered, character-driven novel about identity, loneliness, and the messiness of adulthood. It was funny, wistful, and weirdly comforting. As Noted By Me I found myself underlining lines like I was back in school. Espach just gets  the ache of not knowing who you’re supposed to be. And maybe the best part? Realizing you’re not alone in that feeling. Coming next month: Mystery, loss, and a search that spans years. Brace yourself for a hauntingly beautiful story…
