This was one of the most emotionally devastating books I’ve read in a long time but I still loved every minute of it. Chris Whitaker doesn’t just write characters, he builds lives. The mystery kept me turning pages, but it was the heart of this book that left me breathless.
As Noted By Me
I cried. Like, real tears. It’s a book about trauma, survival, and the hard beauty of connection. I highly recommend reading this one with a cup of tea and a quiet afternoon.
Coming next month:
Let’s time-travel to 1914 Paris, where love and war unfold in letters.
