Three Books, One Perfect Reading Month : July's Unforgettable Favorites

July was a month! We sold our home and moved up the street and started renovating a charming new place to call home. Oh...and during that time we also moved our son across the country for school. I needed a few books (audiobooks) for all of those hours packing, driving, unpacking and organizing.

I picked some winners this month...July absolutely spoiled me.

This month delivered three unforgettable stories that will be with me long after I turned the last page. Each one was completely different, but every one of them earned a spot on my favorites shelf.

The Correspondent by Virginia Evans

Thoughtful, heartfelt, and beautifully written. This story is a quiet reminder of the power of connection and the words we leave behind. I can see why this was the book of the year.

Theo of Golden by Allen Levi

Rich with heart, hope, and unforgettable characters, this one completely swept me away. I didn’t want it to end. I have thought about Theo every single day after I finished this one.

The Calamity Club by Kathryn Stockett

Clever, charming, and impossible to put down. It had just the right mix of mystery, humor, and heart. Little Meg will steal your heart and have you laughing out loud.
