September Reads: As Noted By Me
September was a short reading month, but a good one. Just two books made the list, and one earned a perfect five martinis.
The Shampoo Effect
by Jenny Jackson
4/5

Smart, entertaining, and stacked full of relationship insight, ambition, and the complicated little choices that shape our lives. Easy and clever, this one was a page turner!

The Three Graces of Pearl Street: A Novel
by Elizabeth Wellington Rollins
5/5

Beautifully written, layered, and full of heart, it completely pulled me in; this one was truly something special. The characters and their stories stayed with me long after I finished this book. It was an easy five martinis and definitely one of my favorite reads this year.

Cheers to another month of reads,
As Noted By Me 🍸
The Correspondent by Virginia Evans
Thoughtful, heartfelt, and beautifully written. This story is a quiet reminder of the power of connection and the words we leave behind. I can see why this was the book of the year.

Theo of Golden by Allen Levi
Rich with heart, hope, and unforgettable characters, this one completely swept me away. I didn’t want it to end. I have thought about Theo every single day after I finished this one.

The Calamity Club by Kathryn Stockett
Clever, charming, and impossible to put down. It had just the right mix of mystery, humor, and heart. Little Meg will steal your heart and have you laughing out loud.
Three books.
Three five-star reads.
Three stories I’ll be recommending for a long time to come.
As Noted By Me, July Reads set the bar incredibly high.
What are you reading in August??
