The best way to celebrate this great day is to post one of my local favorites :: West O Beer

Just a quick turn off from busy Highway #71 in Milford, Iowa, you'll find the best local brew and pizza around.

Why West O, you ask? Matt and Michaela started a business plan for this hot spot microbrewery back in 2008. It has exploded in popularity and the building they call home was built in 2013. The taproom is full of locals and tourists, but the best part of the room is the welcoming family feel. For many who know and love Matt and Michaela, we can say THIS has ALWAYS been their vibe. They are incredibly friendly and welcoming and the staff is an extension of them. Every single time we are there it's like sharing a beer with an old friend.

BEER-the star of the show! West O starts with the best water, spring-fed and naturally soft, right from our beautiful West Lake (duh, the name). They have many favorites on tap and I highly suggest you go taste for yourself. West O also does a fantastic job of throwing out new and seasonal brews. It is always fun to see what is coming and being launched. West O is the best at giving back, too. They understand philanthropy and it makes me proud to say I'm supporting local and they are too!
